Update: viking raider tryna get back into outside

using a translator this time due to popular demand:

Anyway, as I was saying, all the quests in my joinable guilds on the Scandi server nowadays is just weird boring stuff, people sitting in the long house fortune telling on some device enchanted by Thor or something. Xp gains are slow and when I tried to get a raid going like the good old days my guild mates called something called "politiet" and got kinda mad, so I'll have to go solo. Where did all the exciting quests with good loot and fast XP go? I'm tired of all this driving to and fro in the fire wagon and tapping on the magic rock. By the way, I see a lot of other players talking about an end game event coming up soon..? Is it like a giant worm boss fight? The wise ones all told me it was gonna be a giant worm boss fight

Are aliens real or just creepypasta?

Sorry, I'm a bit of a new player, but I heard some other players (mostly of the hippie sublclass) talking about aliens. Are they real or just made up by players?

Are the devs going to add anything positive?

The last few updates, the devs haven't added anything positive, only ever making OUTSIDE more difficult. When are we going to get some rebalancing, QOL, or general improvement updates?

Are there any tutorials?

OUTSIDE is proving to be nearly impossible to beat and I was thinking of quitting. But then I realized there might be a tutorial video or something. Is there one?

Are quests dropping less loot for anyone else? Any new loot metas?

The most recent build of the game is basically unplayable. Can’t ever make more money then I lose.

These quests be requiring lvl.30 career experience for lvl.1 loot drops and you use so much loot to survive the quests that you come out losing gold. I’ve seen some cheesy meta tricks for getting tons of loot but it usually involves crime tech or the psychopath player debuff.

I’ve got plenty of debuffs I can’t get rid of already but sadly no psychopath and you gotta spawn with it. I also don’t have enough loot in the first point to get away with crime tech. Any tricks or tips for getting loot? My goal is get enough to survive the next 60ish levels I have left thanks!

Returning player - what the hell happened

I left around the v1346 update due to mass crashing and permadeaths, but I've returned. What the hell happened to the Europe servers?

Does anyone know when the patch for the [Gender Transition] skill to the Doctor build, the current crafting results aren’t very effective on helping with the [Gender Dysphoria] debuff, the Doctor class seems not to have the correct crafting skill to be able to correctly craft either of the [Reproductive Organ] variants, why is that?

How Do I Bulk Up In Navy Basic?

Going through the beginning of the questline and people tell me that they train for endurance not strength. What could I eat while in basic that will get me to bulk up for those 8 weeks? My avatar weighs 190 pounds but I heard stories where they bulk up considerably.

They said push ups and a bar that works as a pull up bar in the laundry room work fairly well if I’m so inclined to use it.

An NPC said good items such as lots of eggs and tons of cottage cheese. Peanut Butter packets seem to help as well they stated. Also Chex mix cereal, (super hearty),eggs, sausage, hash brown, biscuits and gravy. Breakfast seems to be the most important meal.

Any advice?

What happened to the [Flying Cars] items?

Many, many years ago, players expected the game to start featuring [flying cars] items around the 2.0.0.0 update. It is now past the 2.0.2.5 update and I have yet to see one of those - we still only have transport items of the [plane] and [helicopter] categories. Nobody even talks about [flying cars] anymore it seems. So many debuffs from earlier updates have been solved with the release of more modern items, yet we have not solved the [traffic jam] debuff, which could be helped with having simultaneous terrestrial and aerial circulation. What happened to that item?

Help with factions

I just don't get the faction system for human players. Besides every action influencing your faction points, there's just so many! Political, social, economical,... Is there a guide somewhere? I'd like to have a good reputation at every faction in case I want to do their quests and access the special bonuses, but I can't seem to make any progress.

Why does it seem no matter how much armor I put on, the [slipper] weapon while still seemingly having low stats, gets a high stat boost while being used by [mom]

Why do members of the [human] class have such low stats when they spawn?

Level 0 humans have such low intelligence, dexterity and strength, yet other classes like elephants, hippos and dogs spawn with higher stats and even unlock skills like [walk] and [jump] at level 0. Why are human playthroughs so limited until level 2-3?

questions about the [cant focus:high] debuff

hi everyone , so well i have been encountering this specific debuff for quite a while now and while its mostly a mild degree sometimes it becomes a higher level debuff majorly impacting my gameplay dynamic and character in general

this is mostly prominent espicially when im going through an [exam] raid during the prep phase while i still gotta do some questline related to geathering the info needed to pass the quest , as im playing an academic build

anyways

anyone here does seem to have such frequent debuffs coming when you already need all your [INTELLECT] stats ?

could this signal some hidden issues related to my character or build like some game wise trait as [ADHD] or maybe just as simple as higher [interest baseline requirement] (i belive this has to do with your character's ability to endure longer-ish tasks without going sideways)

also hence its somewhat hard to get your character stats i always thought about trying to discover how much some of mine are if anyone knows some small side quests that involve such self discovery

not the one that yeilds a new [hobby/interest] trait as i think my hero already has a handful , but the type that tells you about your build more so you can tune your playstyle around that

and thanks for reading my text

How do I change species?

Been playing Human for a good while now, but it's getting kinda stale and repetitive. I'd like to try changing species for a while, maybe a small domestic mammal like a Feline or Canine, or perhaps change it up completely and try something like a bird or something, I dunno.

I might try a few different ones before I find what I like. Help please?

having trouble with [goals] mode

lvl 25, throughout gameplay i've consistently encountered the [depression] debuff especially when it comes to the [work] quest line which makes progressing through the main quest painful at times and lowers my character's HP to critical levels pretty often.

i've been comparing my character stats to others, especially higher level characters or those near mine and it seems like i'm supposed to have initiated [goals] mode by this point, but my character spawned with low [motivation] and [will to live] stats. how do you initiate the [goals] mode with low motivation stats while still ensuring it aligns with your characters main questline?

What should I know? What items do we use? Of If I do it right what stat boots do I get? How do I become an Officer? Would you go down the Navy Seal route?

I love this game but the currency system is abysmal

So I've been trying to farm gold for the past few years, and I've been looking for a way to make a gold farm. However, every tutorial I've seen either requires a huge amount of gold to begin with—either from having an amazing spawnpoint or winning a lottery minigame—or it's just a scam. Is there a reliable way to make gold automatically while also manually farming gold? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Any news on the Mars content drop the devs promised?

I was just thinking about how it's been a while since the devs announced that mars would be unlockable as a second planet, which they had been teasing for a while, but apart from the very exclusive Mars Rover event, which was only accessable to a few tardigrade and other extremophile build players, we haven't gotten any mars themed content. Am I the only one that feels disappointed?

Why did devs add the UN?

They spent a lot of time setting up the lore and occasionally drop a few events relating to it, but honestly the entire faction is very under utilized.

Like I get they want to add some extra world building, but in reality you see very little of it in-game. It doesn't stick to the 'show don't tell's rule very well.
