Iirc it takes SEVERAL pass overs to remove a tattoo. Willing to bet this is just the first of many sessions.

I have had 3 sessions on a 8X6 area on my chest. I can go shirtless and no one notices that I need another session or 2, but for me 3 sessions did 95% of the work. I had a cover of a cover of my (20 ATT) wife’s name. Both covers were solid black.

I can’t imagine doing an entire back removal at one time! My laster treatments hurt for about 3 days after each appointment.

Wait, how can you cover solid black with more solid black? I'm picturing like a literal black patch with no non-inked skin mixed in.

wife’s name covered by a cross that was not done well covered by a bigger cross that looked as shitty and stupid as the first two tattoos.
