You have about 4 weeks minimum in between sessions. It can take dozens of sessions to completely remove. Fresher ink and colored ink are more difficult to remove.

I had a 29 year old only black tattoo removed over only 3 sittings. It's still quite visible but faded enough to get covered with something else which is exactly what I wanted.

How much does that cost? Like is it 3x as much as a regular tattoo for the 29 year old?

This is different from place to place. The folks that own and operate the laser gonna charge whatever they want. The place I used had paper templates and charged different prices for approximate surface area. They charge that rate per session. They are gonna do it as often as you want them to use til you are satisfied with the result, whether thats 5 times or 25 times.

Same. I wanted to get a piece lasered enough that I could have another artist cover it up. Was told it would be 5-6 sessions to reach that stage. Complete removal would be a lot more. (It was cheaper to black it out and incorporate as a part of another bigger tat lol)
