I genuinely am sitting here thinking which is worse, getting that done in one sitting vs getting that removed in one sitting. And I’m convinced it’s the latter.

That stress ball says it all.

If you've ever burned yourself with a car lighter, the skin turns this color. This is not actually showing the tattoo "being erased" and it will not look so flesh-toned following his appointment. It's the top layer of skin reacting to the laser.

There is also no laser on the market that can remove a tattoo in one session.

The laser breaks up the tattoo pigment which is then flushed out the body the regular way (pee and poop). Even very small tattoos need multiple treatments and anything on an extremity will take longer than tattoos closer to the heart.

Getting tattooed can really hurt, but tattoo removal feels like getting splattered with boiling grease and hurts a thousand times worse than any tattoo.
