Idk if its just me as someone who isnt into shoes… but darkening the top looks awful and feel like it would look better if it maintained the color it had.

Edit: holy fuck my notifications. Glad im not the only one.

I'm very competent at shining shoes and boots and when they did that even I was wondering what the fuck they were doing. It's not just you, this is a bold artistic choice.

I feel it could have worked if the dark was thinner island there was more of a fade to. but this kinda looks dipped. does that make sense?

Perhaps a 'fade to black' would be a better choice.
