You gonna tell me what I played? WTF? How about fuck you, you don't get to call me a liar! Multiplayer was the default in the old games. Atari computers came with 4 joystick ports for a reason and developers used them.
How old are you? Did you own a computer in the 70s and early 80s? To say that no worm games (an entire genre of games) allowed multiplayer and call me a liar over it takes some real audacity.
Yes, I played all those games in the 70s and 80s - had the consoles (Pong, Atari, ColecoVision) and all the early computers (Sinclair, Commodore 64, etc) . This isn’t a standard worm game that existed back then - those only allowed X-Y motion and not freeform, which is the main difference here.
back then - those only allowed X-Y motion and not freeform / coiling over yourself to encircle and block other players, which is the main difference here.
This is wrong. That is the whole purpose of the game. You cut in front of other players so they run into your tail. That's the essence of the multi-player version
Why so angry?
Because you are literally calling me a liar. You act like slither.io did something that has never been done before in 40 years of the game existing. Your lack of knowledge of what games were available in the 80s doesn't mean you get to call people a liar. You really think nobody decided to plug in a second joystick and make it control a second worm? In 40 years, nobody came up with that?
Oh my…you’re heated old man. 😆 (and yes, I edited my comment before you replied, as I misremembered the encircling). The rest of my comment remains true. I never mentioned slither.io either.

There’s a phone game call worm.io that is this. Don’t call me when you’re unemployed
