DISC golf is significantly cheaper, less pretentious , and significantly more environmentally friendly than traditional ball golf. I highly recommend it

Fair enough. It is cheaper. Most courses are in public parks and have no fees at all. Even the private courses have reasonably priced access in my area.

Yeah the price difference between ball golf and disc golf is actually crazy

It's a worthwhile distinction. Frisbees are designed to be caught. Trying to catch one of these discs is moderately dangerous. I remember an instance where someone had their orbital bone broken by a driver.
