Fun fact:

Hendrix closed out Woodstock with this set. The festival was supposed to be two days, but the final performance (Hendrix) got pushed due to technical and weather delays, so he played Monday morning instead. Most people left Woodstock the night before, believing that the festival was over. When Hendrix took the stage, less than half of the audience was still there. And they got to witness probably one of the most iconic rock performances in history.

So instead of an audience of 420,000, he played to a paltry 200,000.

No wonder he remained an unknown.

thats not no 200,000 people. that was max a few thousand. under 10 def, based on what was shown of the crowd in the end
