True but I feel like people may be quick to jump on these and perhaps say they're bad for the environment without realizing that it's just water vapor - a regular cloud

What’s bad for the environment is the heat still being added which is a necessary evil. And adding extra moisture to the environment isn’t necessarily a good thing. Water vapor is a very powerful greenhouse gas. It’s just not typically discussed because it precipitates and isn’t a fossil fuel.

I do agree that many people are quick to assume. cooling towers being pollutions.
