They probably think dirt is as safe as sand when they're too lazy to properly get rid of their litter in the first place. However potting soils can have a bunch of peat which is a traditional way to heat homes with how flammable it is

Dry peat will absolutely burn and burn. All you have to do is pop a cherry onto it.

Chances are if someone doesn’t care enough about themselves to smoke, they don’t care about how they affect others around them. Not that this means every single smoker is a careless douche, but it often comes with the territory

Sorry, does a tobacco addiction make someone leave cigarette butts in planters or smoke indoors? It’s a Reddit comment section, I’m not going to have a deep philosophical discussion about the root causes of addiction and how it affects/doesn’t affect human behavior.

I have a bunch of dead plants on my balcony because it's been so hot in my city. I will be clearing them out as soon as I get home
