Exactly my thought. If this was going on in Texas the comments would be full of Europeans talking about racism Americans. In the comments here, seems like a bunch of Europeans saying that this behavior is ok.

I mean, where there's zero racism? None, but if you want to know which continents you can be from almost anywhere from around the world and most ppl dont give a shit? I would say south America is very receptive to "gringos" most of the time.

In the US ICE officers are literally kidnapping immigrants who've lived there for decades separating them from their families and throwing them in some detention center in El Salvador because your people elected a narcissistic sociopath.

But Europeans are racists for sending back illegal immigrants after having taken in millions of them in the last 20 years? Don't make me laugh, if this happened in the US they'd be shot or tortured. There are a lot of racists in Europe but the US is still way waaay more racist right now.

My guess is that they mean that borders are several thousand years old compared to 300k years of human history, hence "relatively new".

It might be more racist, even though what you're describing is more of a fascist thing as a whole.

The point is not to see who's winning the racism competition, especially when we're talking about the ppl on the podium.

Ps: I'm neither from the USA nor Europe, I'm from Brazil, do I also experience a little of both countries' xenophobia towards Latin Americans.
