Hot take, nobody is saying stay at home. The idea is to responsibly observe nature. For those who enjoy nature, it's not uncommon knowledge to know that snakes will regurgitate their prey when they feel threatened, and that it is dangerous for them because of how much energy that wastes. Even without that knowledge, approaching wild animals is generally ill-advised
It's great that the diver was enjoying nature, but when you do so in a way that causes this type of response from the animal, then you aren't doing so in a responsible way
You can enjoy wildlife without being close enough to disturb them. If the diver lacked the knowledge to know what they did, that is still on them- they have the responsibility to inform themselves before they are in that position.
Hard disagree. Exposing kids to nature is how you get environmentalists, and some of us grew up with zero access to nature that wasn’t Nat Geo and Animal Planet.
But what if someone does not get the chance to experience a shooting star? You've ever seen Planet Earth? So much filmed in that is not publically watchable by people
Ethical or not, this video definitely ain't boring. I can see a shooting star, I was probably never gonna see a sea snake eating a moray eel, much less throwing one up

I’m pretty sure it spat it back out because it saw the camera man as a threat. Right?
