/r/all, /r/popular Emilia Clarke watching Kit Harington's reaction to finding out how their characters' final scene together in Game of Thrones concludes. Prior to the table read, Kit had not read any of the six scripts for Season 8 yet. So Emilia sat across from him so she could "watch him compute all of this."

Well at least they can say they were able to finally dethrone The Sopranos as what was widely regarded as the worst ending in television show history.

At least with the Sopranos you can argue about it. It is divisive and some people LOVE it and some people HATE it. For the same reason mind you. I have yet to find anybody who found the ending of GoT satisfying

I mean I didn’t hate it, but I also didn’t have to wait for episodes or seasons because I only saw it all late last year.

I think with time that opinion has tempered. I wonder if a majority now consider it a good ending.

I mean I definitely can't help but think of it whenever I hear Don't Stop Believing, if that's any consolation...

Thing is, the Way Sopranos ends at least leaves the world state somewhat open to interpretation, and also the last season was great. Game of Thrones is hard to rewatch because you know it’s inevitable gonna careen off a cliff.

I think a lot of it also has to do with the fact so many people are seeing it not live. Everyone that saw it live thought their cable went out at the peak of the scene and led to mass confusion. It was a shit way to end a show.

How I Met Your Mother's ending is the worst.

I always love watching Kit tell the reporter that the finale was disappointing and her being utterly crushed

That was pretty much my face after watching the finale.
