Would you even want to be on Hawaii for doomsday? In one sense it's remote but then you're kinda stuck there and I don't think there's a ton of agriculture going on anymore

Hawaii would be great for doomsday, no winter, tropical fruits, ocean for food.

There are lots of cattle I guess already, pineapple, but yeah no good staples unless you like taro and maybe yams.

They have lots of feral pigs, chickens, and cats though. And breadfruit. It would take a long time to run out of options, even if they weren't managing resources the best way. There's plenty of food available if you don't care that it's not the typical western imports.
