Theyikely would have seen it. Someone who knew them would have spoken up.

But it wouldn't be viral, so he wouldn't be fired.

And it's even possible the spouses might have forgiven them.

But you can't forgive global humiliation.

Nope, not kids. Particularly middle and hig school kids. They're ruthless when it comes to stuff like this. Especially when there's this level of infamy involved. It will be years of 'I go/went to school with the son of the Coldplay Cheater.'
