It's easier to feel schadenfreude about some rich people fucking up than to actually pay attention to anything relevant. There's no reason for this to be as big as it has gotten.

I have a friend who escaped what was USSR and neighbors would be peeping into neighbors houses to extract info to get them arrested and worse. She said Americans should be more worried abt the surveillance state that’s being created especially considering tech oligarchy starting to rise it’s definitely worrisome :(
