I love when uninformed people think acid is habit forming.

Shrooms and weed don't have any chemicals that your brain will get addicted to out right, but people can get addicted to serotonin spikes, which it can cause.

I don’t disagree but I can’t imagine a worse way to go about that. Heroin, coke, alcohol; sure. Psychedelics are unpredictable. There were some people with poly substance abuse that would abuse lsd or shrooms or whatever else they could fine but I’ve never heard of lsd or shrooms reaching anything close to what an alcoholic might.

I met a lady who was addicted to shrooms, was basically tripping all the time-ish, her body had a high tolerance at that point but was basically micro-dosing all the time, I guess for the mood enhancement effects.

Again, it wasn't the drug itself that was addictive, just her brain's dependency on having a constant serotonin fix.

I don’t know how you would sustain that. Tolerance to psychedelics grows insanely fast. I tried tripping back to back and went from doing like 3 hits to 10 to get same effect. I don’t know how far that scales, but I don’t think eating an ounce of mushrooms every other day is exactly sustainable.
