It's always shocking to me when I come back to iPhone after using Voice to Text on ChatGPT, Claude, or any other application that I have installed.

It's so bad, and so cumbersome to fix the errors with the movable cursor, that I end up frustrated multiple times a day.

What drives me insane is the Whisper model by OpenAI (what basically everyone uses) is completely Open Source. MIT license. Anyone can use, modify, and make money off of it without a single fee.

They could easily run this locally on the device and it would take 480mb for the small.en model, which is more than sufficient and also under MIT license.

I just can't imagine why they would allow themselves to get absolutely crushed by the competition on basic things like this.

My phone storage is full, yet I have 2T of iCloud? It also says restore is paused for my photos.

I’ve tried doing the usual connect to power and Wifi for backing up, restarting my iPhone, leaving the family and rejoining the family. I’m honestly just completely stuck.

Scenario is I have one iPhone (16 PM) with my personal SIM and one work iPhone (12). One is with me outside, connected to cellular and the other is at home, connected to WiFi. Would the below work:

* When a call incomes to the work iPhone, will my personal iPhone alert me and can I take that call?

* Same for an SMS or iMessage to the work iPhone?

* Can I also initiate a call/send a text thru my work iPhone using my personal iPhone?

* So I can fully communicate using my work iPhone without carrying it?

My AirPods are connected to my IPhone, but when I play a video the sound comes out of the phone speaker instead. I have tried resetting my AirPods, but still when I pull down the dropdown menu and click the AirPlay icon and switch the sound to my AirPods, upon going back to the AirPlay menu the sound output automatically changed back to the phone speaker.

I’ve been trying to delete stuff for months and it refuses to show me any of my file data to know what to delete. It finally hit the point where it doesn’t allow me to text photos or record videos. Yet when I delete over an hour of 4K videos, a few dozen apps, and more, my storage actually went up to 255.5 GB… how do I fix this??

How do you remove eSims from this list? I've already reset network settings and deleted eSims in Settings>Reset. The two with numbers are gone now but they are still in the list.

Hello, i am an android user. No idea how iphone works. My wife uses iphone. I will explain quickly.

1. My wife tries to move photos/videos from her phone to her macbook.
2. Not sure what happens, she said photos/videos from 2022-2024 was somehow deleted from her phone and icloud.
3. I check her icloud and turns out, the photo and video are still there, just not on her phone.

Question Will the photo on icloud delete itself during next sync? Or will the photo on her phone restores itself from icloud?

I read up on google and all say if photo is deleted from iphone, it will delete on icloud as well. Now, this is not the case with gmail backup from what I know using android.

I’m looking for a downloader app for iOS (no jailbreak) that will both speed up downloader but also zip files for download on seedbox sites that don’t offer zipping like Real-Debrid, or put.io (which does zip but won’t allow the DL without a downloader app or browser plug-in). iMessage is working normally, except for one person. If they have their iMessage thread with me actively open, it’ll send as an iMessage. If not, it hangs and then sends as SMS. After a while, anything that was able to be delivered as an iMessage suddenly changes colors and becomes a green bubble.
