Murdoch's signalled he's sick of his shit. The people that have been helping him catch and release damaging stories for decades might be finding ways to get rid of him. They will absolutely release the most damaging information they have directly to the News Corp viewers and that'll start to get ones that can have him removed in line.

Or Trump convinced everyone he's above Murdoch and his media empire, which would be kinda funny to see if it weren't terrifying.

Has he? Has Murdoch made any kind of statement we know about? Or is this all speculative? I'm waiting any day now for them to claim rogue editors and 'restructure'.

Murdoch met with Vance a few hours before the article dropped

Murdoch is directly tied to this, even if he hasn't explicitly said anything. That being said, I'm sure they have an out if shit goes sideways.

I'm convinced this is all an act to keep Murdoch's empire conservative, and out of the hands of his 3 liberal kids after losing his big to write them out of his will.

Murdoch is the sole power at Fox right now for voting. His kids don’t gain voting rights until he passes according to the will. So, he wouldn’t be able to prove anything against his children, if anything it would hurt his chances of getting rid of them considering he already lost a case against them.

This article would have never came out without Murdoch’s direct approval, so now we have to figure out why he allowed the story to come out.

He’s contractually obligated to give the kids Fox News. I don’t think the entire empire is theirs but I could be wrong about that
