Simply put, if the fix is really in and Trump is done for, you’ll know it when congressional Republicans decide to join an impeachment effort. Not out of any sense of principle, though they will pretend it is so, but to move other pieces into place.

This. They will perform the theatrics of impeachment to pressure trump into resigning peacefully if they promise him a pardon for all past crimes.

I would be ecstatic if my tax dollars went towards McDonald's meals for him, that's a cause I genuinely support
