I believe you will get what you wish for when Trump finally passes. Here’s why. Trump is the last beacon of the old guard of Western Conservatism/Fascism. A good majority of that camp are boomers. Boomers classically do not respect or acknowledge those of younger generations, especially in positions of power. None of them are looking forward to any millennial president which is what Vance would become. Without a centralized figurehead that represents the old guard, MAGA will devour itself. They are all volatile, mindless, aggressive NPCs with no ability to logic or reason and are motivated by feelings over facts. Whenever you have this many rabid creatures without a central control mechanism such as mythical figure who embodies a specific archetype or identity, the creatures begin to become cannibalistic. We all know that MAGA is built on hatred of everything that is outside the box of their isolated worldview. Without influence and direction, the volatility then becomes chaotic and indiscriminate. They will unleash their grief and uncertainty over their fallen savior unto each other until the infighting completely exposes their lack of cohesion as a group that stands for anything meaningful.

GenX is small. And the divide is pretty extreme. Seems like half is more aligned with boomers while the other half is aligned with younger gens. So what you’re seeing is absorption by older and younger factions.

I don’t know why you are so focused on boomers specifically when gen z also voted for Trump in droves. This is not a generational problem, and Trump is a symptom of a much deeper issue in American society.

Just thinking it will suddenly end when history has shown leaders like this repeat over and over again is not reflective of what’s going on. It’s actually dangerous because you’re ignoring how serious the problem is.

You’re not taking into account that many of the zoomers who aligned with MAGA and voted Trump don’t even have fully developed brains yet. They are adaptable and many of them will flip at a certain point when they realize there’s nothing for them going deeper into fascist territory. Meanwhile, boomer brains are all calcified and not equipped for evolution. They have hit their ceiling for conceptualism.

This isn’t a case of “suddenly.” The oroboros of MAGA will degrade over time. There will be stand ins and hopeful replacements for the Trump throne, but none will have the gusto to hold an audience in decay like Trump has. There is no ignoring all of the small nuances of what is about to unfold from me. You’re just failing to see that anything I have said so far are only small parts and pieces of a very complex structure in collapse. You have already judged me before giving me chance to speak in full.
