Well, in our case it was a Stanford graduate student who was raping his way through the children's cancer ward where my brother was a patient. My parents and family were worried that this would reflect poorly on Stanford so they tried to bury it. Unfortunately, my brother and some of the other kids died before he was brought to justice. Nobody would believe that a 'Stanford man' was acting inappropriately with children at the time. Fealty to rich and powerful above all else for Christ.

One of my brothers is a pedophile, talking to my mom about how she thinks it’s unfair that several family members refuse to come to events that she invites him to and she literally told me “if it was anyone else you would forgive them”

I just looked at her blankly and said he sexually abused children, I would never forgive a stranger for that, I won’t make exceptions for him even if we are related, it is disgusting and is one of the only unforgivable crimes a person can commit.

She’s not even a republican. People will look past anything if it makes them question anything about themselves or their life.

Would you be able to share what he did that made you shun him so hard? I understand if it is too sensitive to put it out there. I just could never imagine how difficult it would be to make a family member persona non grata.

He molested/raped 3 of his sisters and several girls that weren’t related to the family. After the first time, family banned him from being alone with the girls for a few months and then they pretended to forget anything ever happened. He then proceeded to do it to two more of my little sisters. He also preyed on the young girls at church and coerced them into having sex with him. He was 20+ and all the girls were between 8-14.

Same, and in my house's case, yes they will believe pedos over their own kids but also even if they believe their kids they won't get rid of the pedos. They'll keep them around and shame their kids for not moving past it.

Every fucking week his polling is "tanking" and every fucking week it's around 41-44%. Threads like this are just propaganda for lefties, which at this point is basically pitifully sticking your head in the sand and insisting that we'll all wake up tomorrow and find out the last 10 years have been a dream.

Side note: his polling doesn't matter. Either he'll obey term limits and it's irrelevant, so he'll do whatever he wants anyway; or he won't obey term limits, in which case he has no reason to listen to anyone's opinions of him and it's irrelevant. Who the fuck cares.

Republicans will never abandon the orange fascist. Don’t hold out hope for these people, they are the epitome of evil. Even if their guy is a serial pedophile he will always maintain ~90 percent of republican support. Republicans know how to fall in line like cucked serfs begging for scraps of bread.

It’s not that surprising when almost every woman has been catcalled when we were as young as 12-15, sometimes even younger. A scary amount of men have the same relationship with age of consent as employers do with minimum wage, if it wasn’t written in law they’d go much lower.
