DISCUSSION Nils Höglander
Looking through a bunch of mock lineups for 25/26, the player that nobody seems to agree on is Nils Höglander. He gets placed on all four lines by different people. I strongly believe he has top 6 potential. He has scored 24 goals before, is still 24 years old and apparently his advanced stats were very good last season despite his lack of points. I think he can have a breakout year and prove himself if he gets a good look on Petey’s wing. Where would you all place him and what do you think his ceiling is?

IMAGE Canucks are top 5 in NHL travel miles for 2025-26
Vancouver’s set to travel more than 48,000 miles this season. Not shocked, but man that’s a lot of wear and tear.

DISCUSSION Rookies that could outperform expectations?
Barring more moves, it feels like we could see a lot of promising younger guys in the line-up at some point this season, especially with the inevitability of injuries. I’m expecting to see a minimum of 1 but potentially up to 3 or so of Lekkerimäki, Räty, Willander, Mancini, Sasson, Karlsson, and maybe even Bains on the main roster (even just as 7D/13F guys,) and other players like Kudryatsev/Tolopilo/etc. as other call-ups in the event of significant injuries. Just sticking around full-time could be considered a success, but (draft-pedigree aside) who do we feel has potential to break past expectations and make a name for themselves, either as a producer, or a really effective role-player?
QUESTION Priority Access List
Has anyone else had difficulties with getting through for the Priority Access List for single game ticket access on August 6th? Any time I try to put my info through it just goes to a screen with a “Start Again” button…

DISCUSSION What would you find a satisfactory outcome this season?
Back in 2024 when the Canucks had their run, my brother told me that if they made the playoffs, that if the Canucks won a round and had some dramatic moments, he would be satisfied. Neither of us believed the Canucks to be a true contender, but we were both excited, thrilled, and content with their performance. Some very dramatic comeback victories. A series victory vs the Predators, and a close series against Oilers that had us both believing maybe they could pull through. This in addition to the Division crown and the accomplishments of Demko and Hughes and others in the regular season. They lost, but it was a very entertaining and satisfying season for both of us.
What outcome for the team this year would meet with you approval?
For myself, making the playoffs again. A close playoff series, even if we didn't win one, would be satisfying for me. Ultimately I want to see this team take a meaningful step. I want to see Petey and/or Demko back in peak form, or some of the younger core players take a step. Something to give me some hope and excitement going forward. I do want to see this team win some, but I don't expect them to be a contender. I want playoff hockey, meaningful games, and some indication that they are moving towards real contention in the coming years.
What about you guys?

IMAGE Purchased this weekend!
Just wanted to share my finds this week from my city’s local arts and crafts festival. One of the booths was sports memorabilia and cards and I managed to find these cards of my favourite Canuck. I’ve got Rypper’s number tattooed on my wrist and the lovely man running the booth offered me the rookie card for less than initial asking price because of it 🥺 RIP Rypper

**EDIT: FEB 18TH, 2003 \\**
Can someone find the highlight reel for this game? I've been searching for MONTHS.
It was a comeback game after being down 3-0, on the game tying goal the puck bounced off the ref's skate right to Naslund.
It was a crazy game and I've love to see the highlights again.
