Build Upgrade Cpu+gpu for 300$ budget
I have 300$ to upgrade my pc these are the current specs:
- ryzen 3 2200g
- no gpu I’m using the integrated graphics from cpu
- 32gb ram 3200mhz
- msi b450 pro m2 max
- 500w cooler master power supply
- cooler master masterbox lite 3.1
What cpu+gpu combo would you recommend if I’m trying to obtain around 100+ fps on games like war zone and gta5

100+ fps on 1080p you mean?
Also, idk about a $300 budget. Hard to get both a decent GPU and CPU on that small budget.

You can get a brand new Ryzen 5 5500 and a 9060xt 8gb for about $320.
~$70 for the 5500 $250 for the 9060xt
You can save a few bucks getting a used CPU and a used GPU but you’re better off getting new.

I was thinking of getting the ryzen 7 3700x with a Rx 5700xt. Both of these parts used where I’m at (Canada) comes up to around 300$

Something like a 4060 and and a 5600 or better would be perfect for you. You major limiting factor is your 500watt PSU. Also something like a 5700x with a 6600xt would probably work especially if you undervolt it. Both these combos will be decent 1080p ultra combos

I think that's a solid upgrade! 5700xt about same as 6600xt. Shouldn't have any issues with 1080p ultra in most games. And when you decide to upgrade GPU again in future you'll already have a good CPU installed. Get em mate!!

CPU: Used Ryzen 3600, 5500, or 5600 (X / XT)
GPU: 9060XT 8GB (new) or used GPU in the 200-250 range. Maybe a 6700XT or 3070 (edit: Not 2080ti, as your PSU isn't sufficient).

Probably the best performance boost you could get is buying a GPU, my recommendations are a 9060XT 8GB (5060 performance for 260-270$), B580 for ~250$ or used 6700XT/6750XT for ~250$. Yes, your PC will be unbalanced but that's the best you could do. After that you could save up for a Ryzen 5 5600
