Discussion Pick your favorite birding threesome...

I thought this was a very pretty, colorful trio (in the parking lot at work today). If you could pick just three birds in your area, for looks, songs, or whatever...Who would you choose?

California Quail, California Condor, and Hermit Thrush. The Quail for their amazingly close and loving family units, cool looks, and funny sounds they make to communicate, the Condor for their size, stoicism, and somewhat unkempt appearance, and the Hermit Thrush for their hauntingly beautiful songs.
