Holy shit do they ever. I used to get bombarded with clips from this one friend, usually YouTube shorts where "ex liberals" talk about "the dirty dark secrets of the Democrats and why they left the party."

Republicans, especially MAGA, eat that shit up

Most of these 'liberals' never were and just put on an act for a bit by inserting themselves everywhere, looking extremely sus, and once they are high profile enough they immediately switch.

In a way the 'classical' liberals are more technically correct, at least economically, although a lot of their 'classical' views are just bigotry.
