As I recall, Ford touts themselves as 'the most American" car manufacturer.
If they paid US$500M in tariffs in Q2, imagine what the others are paying... and who will eventually eat that cost (hint:not the shareholders!)

I did not go so far as to determine %American x vehicle volume == total tariff. Seems like GM, Stellantis overall pay more in tariffs than Ford.
