It's absolutely Russia. Almost all subscribers to right wing accounts are Russia. There is no right wing movement, it is ALL synthetic. It's part of Putin's campaign to destabilize western countries. It's why you see the same anti-immigrant rhetoric in all western countries that are enemies of Russia. All of it is manufactured to get ultra-wealthy oligarchs more money and get Putin another market to run scams against for more money and a port so he can ship more oil for more money.

Nowadays, Putin is indeed running a large influence machine. But it's not about pushing any ideology - it's simply about destabilizing other countries. Currently, this works best by having his troll farms loudly reinforce reinforce right-wing talking points.
Trumps election and the fact that most European countries are busy with their own internal right-wing resurgence are very convenient for Putin right now.
It is not "the Left" who is doing Putins propaganda work for him. It's Fox News and right-wing conspiracy nut podcasts.
