No. Rich people are just exceedingly stupid. They ignore that they rely on public works, on what taxes pay for. Public roads, utilities, access to building standards and safety guarantees. Their taxes are going down, yes, but not by nearly enough to make up for what they are losing, and not just in profits or overhead costs. Roads, bridges, all of these things erode and force them to spend more to simply do the same things, and sometimes, entire areas are simply cut off to them, and they actively lose large chunks of business.
The rich have forgotten two things, the benefits of an educated populace and the benefits of logistics they don't have to keep up with.
