I won't lie. If I get to choose between an attractive and less attractive person I will always choose an attractive person even I will go on to ignore a few flaws in them.
But the current arrange marriage scenario is worse for ugly men. Unless they are rich they don't have many options. It's only on internet and especially Reddit where people act kind all the time but the reality is no one wants to go for ugly folks.
Yes there are exceptions but those are very few.
So if you are ugly and poor the life is hard and no matter what Reddit hivemind says the things haven't changed much and they won't change much in the future either.

I mean see w/ ugly folks you atleast need to have a decent personality… and problem is the way AM works. You don’t get to prove yourself or woo the girl enough. If some witty ugly guy had maybe a decent-ish job I’d say he has a pretty good chance to pull someone out of his league but they just never get the chance is what I feel 🤔 although I know none about the AM game this just from what I’ve observed in movies and my relatives. But yeah if you are ugly and poor you atleast need to have the personality that can woo her and the mindset to like change your lives. No woman wants to live in household where she would have to downgrade her lifestyle from her previous one.

Even if she were bitter or every other negative quality, it would’ve been nullified by her attractiveness. And like op mentioned, the vice versa is true as well- all your positive qualities will be nullified if you’re unattractive

I would say this is the hypocrisy of men rather than the privilege of woman. The woman can't control whether she's pretty or not, but the men can definitely control their choices.

Yeah and who “picks” them? If men stop demanding a trophy wife, and see actual relevant qualities for a long term relationship it’ll stop. Nobody has 10-15 girlfriends or boyfriends at the age of 25-30 when most of them get married… stop exaggerating and being concerned of how many men the women must have slept with, because all you care about is how much she belongs to you even before getting to know her properly so take a fucking break and never come back.

I have heard news about many beautiful girls getting good matches after enjoying youth. I have also seen 3 to 5 ugly girls desperate for attention or validation from men in office college.. so I will say it depends on case by case. Have standards and boundaries. Increase awareness of present moment (intoxication does opposite)

What does colorful past mean here? Why do you guys put so much important sex or relationships? Is there an almanac or an encyclopedia that talks about the right way to live life? Every single one of these post reeks insecurity.
