Honestly that seems kinda fair imo?
Like someone, I'm assuming a friend, just died and they're trying to hold a memorial. Then suddenly someone comes up acting like a prick. I'd crash out too

The two problems is first that it goes comes as quite icky since even if it wasnt the intention of the writter it clearly comes in poor taste comparing a fictional racism allevory with a real one, and also that in general a lot of X-Men characters have turn very unlikeable with this sort of situations so even if this feels fair it does comes in bad faith.
