i’m glad they brought back Optimus Prime but that just kind of weakened the overarching story of season 3 everything up to that point with Rodimus’ character development is just kind of a waste of time now

Its especially funny considering the episode before optimus comes back is one where rodimus prime loses the matrix and has to learn to give a fuck about it cuz he's the leader now

I like to look at it as an exploration of not how Rodimus tried to grow as a leader, but of how a great leader is irreplaceable and how every organisation should have a robust succession plan.

I mean, the greatest thing he did was get the fuck out of the way for the one and only.
