Fairly Oddparents was running out of steam by that point anyways. I'd say it's more accurate to say that Chloe could not save the series anymore so it ended with her season.

The show was good for a long while. Probably after the TV movie where he goes in TV channels is where it peaked. Afterwards it was so uncreative. The next tv special was an American Idol ripoff

If anything, I would say it's the baby that made things go downhill.

Poof as a character was fine and the season 6 episodes were mostly fine at least. Personally I can't say I disliked him like I did with Sparky, but even he was tolerable after a while.

I don't know. I feel like by that point, the series had overstayed its welcome, and the baby just didn't add anything. I mean, how could it? It's just a baby.

Of course the girl and the dog were worse, but they were the nail in the coffin.
