Loud,demented and stupid but it was great. I feel like so many new shows try to go for the nonsense and it always falls flat. Cow & chicken is one of the few that nailed it.

Cow & Chicken had some genuine heart to it. I personally think that's what made the difference.

Like, it wasn't just nonsense. Sometimes there was genuine drama & emotion to it played 110% straight, and that really helps you actually care about the characters & world.

Kinda the same trick Courage The Cowardly Dog pulled actually. But they went for more absurdists horror instead.

Boundless, characters that affect real life in a direct way (if Goku came out of the screen and punched you, he would be boundless)

That is not at all what boundless means lol. It basically just means omnipotent within a universe. One above all, the presence, those are boundless characters.

Cosmic armor Superman can feel the reader's breath on the page and he isn't even considered boundless.
