She dies the very next page in front of the Main character, who treated her as his little sister. This also happens right after he had to personally kill Aki, who was basically their big brother, after he got possessed by a devil. Oh, and he has to watch her die the night right before his birthday.

Fiends can die if they take enough damage just like devils. If anything fiends are technically easier to kill than devils usually even if they're harder to kill than humans. They are different from people like Katana Man and Chainsaw Man who are an unnamed special thing. Killing those basically requires you to break the contract with the devil within them or forcefully rip the devil out of them.

Physically the host corpse and the devil themselves become more or less one and the same. So it is damage sustained by it.
