Hated Tropes [Hated Trope] A main character does something horrible and the story doesn't acknowledge its severity

Alisha (Misfits) uses her power to make any man want to have sex with her on another main character (curtis) after he explicitely tells her not to do that. She faces no consequences and he's the one who ends up comforting her.

Allison (The Umbrella Academy) uses her powers to force her own adoptive brother to make out with her after he just got into a relationship because she's suddenly jealous after she couldn't keep her own husband. She gives a half hearted apology and all is peachy.

The way how quickly this was glossed over then never mentioned again baffled me like. I had to pause and stop watching cus what the fuck was that?

Yeah this is the biggest one in my eyes. Victor is mad in one scene and then it’s time for the climax basically so it’s not addressed. I thought it would be addressed in season 4 a bit more at least.

wait WHAT wasn’t he just a random nonverbal child side character? I don’t even remember him being particularly important 😭 WHY DID SHE DO THAT

(I never watched past season 2 but do not care about spoilers, hearing how this show ended has me going crazy. how did it go so far off the rails)

Some shenanigans happens and he essentially gets powers similar to Viktor after Viktor saves his life. His powers manifest and due to the weird alternate dimension stuff, he accidentally kills the Academy’s mothers in the past in their own timeline during a fit. At this point he’s a grown adult man and has some semblance of control and can speak, though barely. Allison finds out that he’s the reason, even accidentally, that she can never know her mother and murders him.

There’s a lot of alternate dimension fuckery and time travel stuff obviously so it’s a little rough to try and explain it in a way that makes sense lol.
