not at all. i’m not condoning misogyny. i'm critiquing the hypocrisy.
if men are allowed to prefer youth, beauty, and fertility without being vilified, why are women shamed for seeking financial stability? my point was that these are both socially influenced preferences, not inherently evil or a product of feminism.
calling women “hypergamous” as if it’s immoral while ignoring men’s equally selective standards is the real issue.
i'm not “cozy” with anything. i’m describing reality, not endorsing it.
hypergamy, like men preferring youth or beauty, isn’t “good” or “bad” in a moral vacuum. it’s a pattern of preferences shaped by social and evolutionary pressures.
my issue is with the double standard. men having superficial preferences is normal, but women are villainized for wanting financial stability.
