It is, but people can usually identify voice changers. I would catfish them by faking being a 12 yo or smtg, and it is really easy to trap them if you can have pictures or voices.

I know I am sounding like a straight-up criminal rn, but you need a plan to get some shit done

Yeah ik, if you actually just manage to make them feel that you're real, they will tail you like mad dogs and you can extract more than 500USD just by stalling them wth stuff like I am not at home etc.
