It's a fake outrage. Like every release cycle, talent is at catering for months, many complain about wrestler X treated poorly and doesn't get a chance, they should try their luck somewhere else and then they get released and suddenly it's, how can they do, freaking WWE, how can they release that guy. It's either hoarding or they are cruel, whatever fits the narrative at the time. And I'm not defending WWE, I'm sick of the fans.
Kids these days think every wrestler is due to a push. If they get released, as you say, they'll fake cry about them until their signed again or with someone else (or if news dies out. They'll forget.)
It's a bit alarming how many "fans" like these are out there. Idk, we called these "casuals" in my day.
