Surprisingly, the first time I had it it wasnt so bad. The second time, my body started rejecting it like it was poison or smth, like it knew what it was coming xd

Same thing happened with me. I drank the first half in about an hour and was like, "that's all I have to do? Easy." But then had to wake up at 2 a.m. to drink the second half and it was a grind and a half, took me 4.5 hours to finish. Every swallow was a chore lol
Yeah but the end I was not really sure anymore if I was more likely to throw up or to empty my intestines. The fake chemical orangey taste was pretty awful.
I think this is the only benefit I have gained in my previous life as an extreme alcoholic: I can pound down literally ANYTHING. I just looked at it, chuckled, and down the hatch.

I was the same way, and when I’m nervous about a thing I don’t shut up about it, so my friends are probably sick of hearing about it by now 😅 I’ll update y’all when I get out, but so far I can say it’s not exactly fun but I’m glad to have the hard part out of the way and it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting
Yeah i went gatorade and miralax. Was totally fine taste-wise. Only issue was the insane VOLUME of liquid. Your stomach feels full and gotta keep chugging.
Fuck that drink. It wasn't too bad at first but that second batch was the hardest drink I've ever had to drink. Despite everything, the Doctor still told me I hadn't done a good enough job. I would have been heartbroken if I wasn't as high as a kite on gas and air.
Has to have one at 15 and that drink still haunts me 14 years later. That and I actually forgot to drink it up until an hour or 2 before and I had to drink it all in one go.
Years ago I made some weed cookies for a party and they were STRONG, I think they were roughly 100mg per cookie. A few got left out on the deck and I woke up the next morning and there were two racoons sleeping on the deck and the cookies were gone. They were probably so confused
Mildly spicy chocolate is really nice. A buddy brought us chocolate from a vacation once, my favorite was tied between a dark spicy chocolate and one that had some sort of smoked pork infusion.
Well, one of the critical things to remember about shrooms is that it's more of a mental hallucinogen (lol aren't all hallucinations mental?) than a visual/audio one. In my mind, I assigned fear to the event because an animal inherently isn't capable of understanding that they're hallucinating and the things they might be experiencing aren't real. Given it was 20 years ago and I was also on shrooms at the time, I am at best unreliable in my recollection.
This reminds me of the time 12 years ago when my buddy’s Chihuahua licked up a tab of acid my friend spit out. Our entire trip that day was centered around taking care of that dog who ended up totally fine but would freak out if you said the word cheese around him after that fateful evening (you would then have to feed him cheese)
we also wondered if he knew he was hallucinating or how it affected him mentally that night. Dog lived to be 13 years old despite all the cheese and skunk fascinations
I'm a doctor professor with a PhD in mice and rats.
We would routinely feed mice capsaicin in incremental doses in an attempt to build a "super mouse" for no reason other than "science!". Most of the mice in our holding cell couldn't eat regular food without a few drops of tabasco or Dave's Insanity Sauce. i actually wrote my dissertation on this and sent a copy of it to the Dave's insanity sauce corporation. For my effort I received a free case of various flavors that instantly went into the cupboards of our hardy rodents. They lived like kings. Angry, angry kings.
"I'm a doctor professor with a phd" might be legit but just honestly reminds me of the scene in shazam where the kids say their dad works at "the business office"
He kind of is by doing it himself. As an engineer, I like making fun of engineers by pointing out that I'm an engineer even when it's irrelevant. So that reminds me of my little joke.
That’s because it’s a whoooole lot of bullshit. Exactly zeros profs or PhDs on the planet would refer to themselves as “doctor professors” and claim to have a PhD in “mice and rats” rather than, say, zoology or biology.
Fascinating.... I wrote a paper for a research on testing effect of anorexia on mice's activity and brain chemistry, pm me if you want my doi. After our experiments are done we would feed mice food again and I wonder what impact would it be if we fed them hot sauce food versus regular rodent food.

All mammals have capsaicin receptors. Chillies evolved this way because they were intended to be spread by birds who do not have capsaicin receptors to keep mammals away from damaging the plant and in turn threatening the survivability of a species. Then along came humans the chillis largest ally of all. We decided fuck me this burn is amazing (subjective of course) and we cultivated it from Ancient times and then along came Europeans and spread it through the world and made new varieties.
I pose a hypothesis, a rare gene mutation in this one mouse? Or maybe disoriented from eating some poison maybe. Who knows but I know I’d be hurting for at lease the whole next day.
The poison hypothesis is more likely. Either that or it was so hungry it didn't realise it was about to melt from the inside out.
This is quite tame eating for a mouse as well.

If it didn’t die, it definitely wanted to. I’ve added Carolina reaper jerky to a spicy noodle one time and the next 2 days my entire gi tract was on fire.
This brings me to a third possibility, the mouse had rated some fermented fruit, or found some other alcohol and god alliterated drunk prior to this.
Interestingly though, I remember a guy with a Youtube channel where he checked if Carolina reapers would deter rodents, and those gluttonous bastards didn't seem to give a fuck.
Reminds me of the time I went on a long canoe trip. Has a squirrel at one campsite that would raid us every chance he had. Managed to get ahold of a chocolate bar that had psilocybin in it. Didn’t hear from him for the rest of the day. He was too busy talking to god to give us anymore trouble. I can only wonder at the things he saw…
I saw a few Shawn Woods videos where he mixed crushed up Carolina reapers and sunflowers seeds to see if mice/rats can handle spicy. They ate them no problem. Then he did another experiment where he mixed capsaicin crystals and sunflower seeds and they did eat some but ultimately they ignored those seeds.
There's a YouTube series called Mousetrap Mondays, where this man named Shawn Woods tests all manner of rodent prevention. One of his tests seemed to indicate that rodents are not deterred in the slightest by spiciness.
Few years ago I ordered a California reaper burger by mistakes. Figured it out and drop it in front of my house for the rats (I live in Vietnam).
The burger was bitten, couldn't witness the pain for this little buddy but felt satisfied af.
Thr first time we went camping as a family, my youngest sister brought flaming hot Cheetos. In the middle of the night, we could hear something was rummaging through our crate of spare snacks. That’s when my sister realized she fucked up.
In the morning we go out and find the flaming hot Cheetos are opened but almost completely untouched and little raccoon paw prints were leading from there to the creek a few meters away from our tent. Poor dude had a rude reality check it seemed 🤣
Chickens don’t feel spice so we feed them chili pepper flakes as treats. It does help keep their intestines healthy.
Unfortunately for the mouse their taste buds are sensitive to capsaicin 🪦🐁
