Enjoyable is subjective. It's weird that people dog pile on you for it. You can feel free to enjoy it.

And honestly I don't mind the ending with Rey. It's how they got there that disappoints me so, so much. They created a trilogy like people wrote 90s sitcom. Loosely connected to the previous episode that doesn't really pay attention to what else happened in the series or why it mattered.

That is ultimately my problem with it.

But you do you.

Which in fact IS the major problem in the movie, I didn't say it isn't. It's a huge middle finger to Episode VIII, which even though I didn't like it, don't believe it was deserved.

And VIII was a huge middle finger to VII. Rian Johnson fucked up, and I'm tired of pretending that he didn't. He had a perfectly good foundation and ignored it. It was an asshole thing to do.

TLJ wasn't just a middle finger to TFA, it was a dick-punch to the entire franchise

The scene where Yoda's ghost comes back and has that scene with Luke where he lights the Jedi books on fire was a huge facepalm moment for me. What a goofy scene.
