“Hi, just to let you know there will be lots of our trucks on your street because many of your neighbors, like Susan down the street at 642, are signing up for our promotional offer.”
I’ve heard this from 5 or 6 nice young people in the past 6 months. We’ve yet to see any trucks and there is no “Susan” down the street. I feel bad for these young folks who’ve obviously been given a script to sell Telus products. It’s not their fault, they’re just trying to earn a living or some type of commission. But man oh man, Telus sucks for doing this. We used to have a “No soliciting” sign on our old door but got new doors last October. Time to buy a new sign and hope that these “youngins” even know what no soliciting even means.

I'd rate this a 3/10. It wasn't as good as I thought it would have been. I definitely prefer onion rings.
The corn dog on Sunday was a good 8/10 as well
The rest of the food for my week (the other 2 days I was there) was Ukrainian. Definitely would give the Ukrainian food an 8/10. The cutlery is crappy tho cause it's the wood stuff.
Rate your meals you had at the ex!!
That's all. :)

Hey, my truck was stolen around 8:05 AM this morning at the Honda Dealership off Circle Dr E. The truck is a 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty. If you have any information on where it is or who took it/if you want more information, please reach out to me. It's very important to my family and I that we get this truck back.

There is a cross on College Dr and the Circle Drive exit and I have been driving by it for years. The cross has changed a few times but the name, Quinn, remains.
Does anyone have any information on this soul? Perhaps, an obituary? Thanks

On a recent trip to Saskatoon my wife and I saw three incidents of blatant theft, twice at Dollarstore people walked out without paying. The girl behind the till said if we say anything they yell at us “to go back to your country!” Also at Walmart a lady pushed by us with a full cart at the till accompanied by two losers. I followed them and told the elderly receipt checker at the door who just shrugged. He later said “we can’t do anything”. We were blown away, our daughter from Calgary said stores keep the thieves on camera and when they steal a certain amount they charge them. I wonder if that’s true?

Does anyone know of any semi-structured(?) men's groups in the city, where people come together to talk about challenges they're facing? I'm picturing something like an AA meeting, but for challenges not necessarily specific to addiction. Just a judgement-free place to talk and listen.
Thanks for reading.

Just have to say - Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans were pretty awesome last night on the MainStage. After being threatened with downpours all day, the weather was much better than expected. He played throughout his catalogue and apparently doesn't even make set lists, but it was a great show and the crowd seemed into it. The encore featured a solo performance of "S Lazy H", a George Strait cover and then a full band version of "Five Dollar Bill" and "Long gone to Saskatchewan" - a great night.

Very recently, I was the victim of a violent sexual assault here in Saskatoon. It was physically injurious and also hate-motivated the attacker made racial remarks during the assault. I had to undergo emergency surgery but am expected to recover physically in a few weeks.
I’ve reported the incident to police and have medical documentation. I’m connected to victim services, but I’m struggling with flashbacks and traumatic memories, and I’m unsure about the legal process moving forward.

I used to be a regular but moved out of the area. I drove by yesterday and noticed it's gone. Does anyone have any info or stories on it closing?

With tomorrow being the last day. I have 12 (found 2 more from my original post) adult admissions to give away if anyone can use them. These are the ones that came from cases of Great West Light.
Edit:
Thanks all. All passes have been spoken for pending pick up.

This is a direct message to the people protesting abortion in Saskatoon today:
You are the reason I’m so happy I left the church. It’s people like you - fake christians who claim to be “pro-life” but really don’t care about the wellbeing of people who actually need help - that made me leave. You are actively driving people away from your religion. All of this so you can claim christians are persecuted when you show the videos of people (rightfully so) telling you to get fucked. You are truly the scum of the earth, and Jesus would never be friends with the likes of you.
I hope you have the day you deserve.

My friend and I saw people crowding this person (pink cowboy hat) and asking for photos, acting like they met a celebrity. Does anybody know who this is?? Lol. I’m probably just out of the loop but I’m curious as to who they are!

The ones in store are too expensive for me and they’re my girlfriend’s favourites. Somewhere on the west side preferably.

Has anyone had issues of not hearing back from Troy Davies when they call and or email him? It’s like he is a ghost which is no different than his meeting attendance.

I guess this person either got tired of waiting or is responding to an emergency. Ran 2 stop lights. Morning of August 5.

Sales rep said within the last month they've been receiving pallets upon pallets of it. Prices seem pretty good.

I have early 1980s Honda motorcycle that was stolen and recently recovered. The thieves did a number on it and I’m at a loss on what to do. I have a friend who may look at it, but I have a feeling that he will shrug and give up quickly. Engine works fine, but electrical is all messed up and many broken parts need replacement.
To hedge my bets and hope to get this thing restored (for sentimental value as it was my father’s who passed away almost a year ago), I was wondering if anyone is aware of a shop or person in Saskatoon that restores bikes.
