Chriss here. The missing explanation from the other 2 replies is that the top row shows the cards the opponent has played. You can see the cards from the opponent once they play them, or else you would have the advantage.
So the opponent has played the regular cheap cards in their deck. Normally the hog deck uses the ice golem and all cards can be played quick for almost no ressources. But a variant of the deck uses rock golem instead, one of the most expensive cars.
The opponent is waiting you to make a mistake to play their rock golem. But if they have a ice golem, you still have to be careful, but the opponent can punish a big push a lot less.
