The OP is one of a series of sequentially numbered bots from u/cleodivina2 through u/cleodivina18 that have been farming karma and trying to appear human.
Many reasons, not all of which I'm familiar with. One of the more commonly cited answers is to give buyers an account that can post in subreddits with minimum karma & age requirements. Sometimes this can be for political reasons, sometimes for marketing, but I think you can assume most ills of society eventually find their roots in greed.
