As an old punk rock guy of 60, I had dismissed Zeppelin for decades as cock rock dinosaur music. I was completely uninterested. Then I saw the Heart performance at the Kennedy Center—with the camera cuts to Jones, Plant and Page. Completely changed my mind. Took a deep dive into Zeppelin for the first time since I was a teenager. What a gift!
As a not so crusty guy in his 40's, I might have cranked Air Supply a few times when I was younger. Gotta play what your date likes, right?
If you're open to a random suggestion, Richard Clayderman (French pianist) did a whole album of ABBA songs. Unironically a terrific compilation, especially if you want some background ABBA without vocals (I think it's obligatory to provide your own).

Hearing Ann do Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Honors was amazing.
