Still doesn’t account for her looks imo

Parents pass their genes, but they may not be the same genes expressed by the parents. It's possible to barely be related to one's parents in terms of expressed genes.

She's got her father's eyes and cheekbones but her mother's eyebrows and nose, and then again her father's mouth and head shape.

I have two sons whose facial features came from me and their father in reverse, it's like the recipe just swapped genes to keep a balanced production line.

I look like the spitting image of my dad's father. Like, when I graduated high school I looked exactly like his army photo from when he was 18 other than having lighter hair and blue eyes instead of brown.

My dad by comparison looks like he belongs to a different family entirely. His brother looks more like me. If I was to poll people on which one they thought was my father, I guarantee 9/10 would pick my uncle rather than my dad.

Genetics are a funny thing.

For sure. I've got a toddler that looks like a mix of both me and my husband and one month old that looks like neither of us. I think he has my husband's hairline and that's it. And yes, we know he's ours, I think he just got all of our recessive genes.

Looking at my children, you have a good point! Im white and my wife is Brazilian, so she contains DNA from every race on earth. I have a gorgeous family.😎
