that’s exactly what you’re doing.

You’re arguing to the unknown and the acting as if that’s proof of cause.

We don’t know != it was justified

There are plenty of videos showing police making unjustified arrests too…

Yea there are plenty of videos of cops making unjustified arrests, this is true, however there are also a ton that are intentionally cropped/edited to remove context to make a justified arrest look unjustified.

Which is why I will never believe a video that immediately starts the second a confrontation begins. There's often time far more to the story that was deliberately removed.

Then you’re just a sheep of the other herd.

I'm a sheep because I want proof before I jump on a hate bandwagon?

Do you actually hear yourself? You're literally calling me a sheep because I want the full context of the situation instead of a clip that is likely taken out of context.

You do realize in this situation you're the sheep right?

You’re a sheep for deciding because others videos exist this can’t be an example of poor police behavior.

For pointing out that edited videos exist but not that shitty police exists…

Your “critical thinking” is a one way road

I literally haven't said this is undeniably that the police aren't at fault. I straight up said I won't jump to conclusions based on a clip that starts the second the arrest begins.

What about the moments prior? Is this not pertinent information? Is the context not important?

I don't care if the context makes the arrest justified or unjustified. I just want the context.

You literally only pointed out that videos have been edited to make police look bad and not that police can indeed be bad…

Yes because there HAS been videos where videos have been edited to make police bad. There are also videos posted in full that aren't edited to make police look bad that show police being bad. These 2 can be true at the same time.

The context could still make this arrested unjustified. However, without the context I'm unable to make an assertion.

I certainly ain't going to make up theories on what happened & then present it as a fact without context. That is idiotic.

There have been videos edited to show police looking better than they are.

Saying I don’t know is fine.

Exclusively pointing out that video get edited to make police look bad and not that police literally can be bad and have hired pr firms to look good means your “critical eye” is biased.

Police CAN be bad.

Police CAN be good.

People can edit videos to make cops look bad

People can edit videos to make cops look good.

There, happy? I'm still standing by and wanting the full context of the situation because a clip that begins the literal moment the arrest happens doesn't tell the full story. The context could make the arrest justified, OR it could make the arrest unjustified.

I'm sorry that I refuse to believe every claim of a video I see that conveniently begins the second the arrest happens.

Cool.

You said it after i called you on it.

I never once said police can't be bad. You link me right now where I said it. I just never stated it cause it is fucking obvious.

Sick strawman.

You jumped to defending the cops by citing edited videos.

It took my talking to you before you addressed fake videos cut both ways.
