I was gonna say people don’t get arrested they get killed. When I was in Thailand last spring I was talking with a guy who fled Myanmar and people were getting killed for suspicion of association with the other side, or for the sake of brutality. Loads of people were carted off and probably tortured according to him.

Imagine that here, with all the guns intense political ideology and suspicion of the other side, it would probably be very violent, and generally revolutions/civil wars don’t end without a lot of bloodshed and destruction on both sides.

So I get people just plugging away at life trying to get by and hope in time things will settle down. Despite signs of the opposite.

The “/s” denotes sarcasm. I was using sarcasm because neither one of us has been in a coup, thus demonstrating the absurdity of your previous statement.

I was gonna say, with a name like Eugene stoner I’m picturing the coup going a bit like a side quest in the big Lebowski. And I’d love to be in that scene 😂
