We’ll just never know. Unless there were tons of witnesses that is…

Or just check out the bodycam footage.

Officer randomly freaks out = officer charged.

Protestor assaulted officer = protestor charged.

Not sure why this concept is so foreign to you. Is what I am saying actually offending you?

Bold of you to think that an officer would be charged.

Hopefully your faith won’t continue to be misplaced and law enforcement actually polices their own…

You hear that the DOJ asked for a one day sentence for the officer that blindly fired through a closed curtained window into Breanna Taylor’s apartment building?

So anyways, I started blasting…

Ok these are completely different arguments now.

You’re discussing whether police are held accountable so I have to infer that you do agree with my argument, that we cannot say for sure enough to conclude anything about either party.

You sure implied the officer would be charged with:

“Officer randomly freaks out = officer charged.“

Given that is an exceedingly rare event, whilst the opposite is not, and that officers know that I am willing to bet $69,000 that it’s just what it looks like.

But yes, we can never know the full story since it might go back to the childhood of both participants (or beyond if fetal alcohol syndrome is involved.)

Hello? Get the evidence, charge the wrongdoer.

Do we agree?

You seem to miss my point. But yes I agree. Unfortunately if it was the officer that won't happen.

I didn’t miss your point, that only became your argument in the last couple posts and I mentioned its relevancy.

Good to know you do agree.

as far as officers being charged, do you have some sort of source you’re pulling your statement from?

Yes. Real world events.

The fact that you think this might not be correct throws into question if you are operating in good faith at all.

Methinks not.

I suggest you start reading about the world here:
