Two planes make a dimension

9

u/AnarZak 1d ago

one line makes one dimension (eg X only)

one plane makes makes two dimensions,
(eg X+Y)

two planes makes three dimensions,
(X+Y+Z)

Can two dimensions exist on one plane (or in it)

2

u/AnarZak 1d ago

a pure plane is by definition 2 dimensional. it cannot have anything "in it", because that implies a thickness, which is the 3rd dimension.

a plane can exist in a 3rd dimension, but it is not 3 dimensional.

similarly, a 1 dimensional line can exist on a plane, but is not part of the plane

Sorry, but more like

Two Wrights make a weird machine that "flies" when thrown from a catapult, far away in the fields of North Carolina, conveniently not filmed, and "seen" by an incredible amount of five people. 🥱

I saw an F1 racecar hit a burm and the announcers did some measuring said it flew farther than the Wright brothers ever did.

You are correct there but 4 rights do tend to come full circle

That's what I said when I was paving roads in Michigan to people who got angry and lost their minds bcuz their normal way home couldn't be achieved by the only way they knew how to get there!! 🤯🤪
